Going out and doing things is very rewarding, you should almost always do it.

TCAF mini note.
I went to TCAF on Subday and it was excellent. I wish I had had a bit more time or had known more of the artists and their works. It was such a great meeting of artistic talent all together in one building! I hugged Marlo Meekins and got to shake Nick Cross's hand! I blabbered like a nervous insecure little artist (which I was so I guess it was appropriate) but they were both very nice to me. I wish I had been able to go on Saturday so I could have met Bill Amend. There were only 2 things I regret not buying and a few things I regret not having enough money for.

Beak Sync Animation
My last Animation of the year. (My muzzle sync animation is barely visible on YouTube so I won't bother posting it here until I can make it watchable...somehow)
I was very proud of my animation work this year. Animation used to be my most challenging class and I never thought I would get the hang of it. I said I hated animating and had completely written it off as a career option. This year I had 2 animations in the "Highlight Reel" (this one and the muzzle sync).
My main focus for the summer is to hopefully get more comfortable with digital animation software. I just want to animate.

Bioshock Infinite -Elizabeth WIP
School's finished for the year so I have no one telling me what to draw for a few months.
I feel I'm really amateur when it comes to making art digitally so I've really got to buckle down and learn my way around a tablet. That's my plan for the summer... but as determined as I am, that big white screen is still pretty intimidating...
A couple of failed doodles later and I had a fun Elizabeth drawing. Now I'm not sure how I want to go about fleshing it out. I laid down some flat base colours and I kind of like the effect alone but I don't think it's the right feel for what I saw in my head...

Some birdie frames
Working on my last animation of this year and probably my last animation on paper... Since no one works that way anymore. Which really makes me sad since I just can't get the right effect with computers. Oh well.
This little guy's so cute. I love animating him and making him make funny faces. If I could go back in time and tell first year me how much I would love animation I would not believe future me.

old art faerie
Whoa this one's older! An Art faerie! I drew a whole bunch of these guys but only coloured this one.
I think I was going to put some sort of title or something in the negative space there...
Those wings came out nicely.
